FIRST AID CONTAINER Overseas France
Given the unpredictability of natural disasters, it is essential to have turnkey solutions for helping victims of floods, forest fires, earthquakes, etc. in the immediate after-hours of catastrophe.
A school group in the French overseas departments and territories sought to install medical containers outside the buildings to facilitate access to first aid, featuring quick deployment no longer than a few minutes.
The Zhendre design office proposed a containerised first aid solution consisting of a single 20′ ISO shipping container. Inside of the container, all the following equipment is available on site in case of an emergency situation: an inflatable tent to accommodate victims; a cold room to store medicines, ice, vaccines, etc.; a generator in case of power failure on the network; a Zhendre tent air conditioner; a set of medical material containing camp beds, bandages, etc.
This bespoke solution is currently being tested and should be available in the coming months.
