TRANSPORT AND PROTECTION OF FOODSTUFFS:
THE 1M³ REFRIGERATED CONTAINER
This refrigerated container, which can be transported by air using a special pallet, is designed to transport and store refrigerated and frozen foodstuffs, with or without shelving.
It consists, in the upper part ,of a refrigeration chamber and machinery area that houses a refrigeration unit, and in the lower part, a generator that can be completely removed.
The container operates on mains electricity but remains autonomous in terms of energy by using the generator set.
It can be loaded and handled and is able to be transported by land, sea and air. Its capacity can support about thirty people based on 2 resupplies per week.
It can therefore meet the needs of various users of base camps—defence (land, air, sea), humanitarian, oil & gas and public works—in areas lacking a source of electricity. Its technical characteristics allow it to be used in extreme climatic conditions exposed to significant thermal ranges.
